As an AV Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing both electrical and mechanical audio-visual equipment. Your expertise in AV systems will ensure that technical aspects of our events are delivered smoothly, enhancing the overall experience for clients and visitors. You will work closely with event organizers and presenters to provide high-quality AV solutions for exhibitions and live events.
Key Responsibilities:
Equipment Maintenance:
- Maintain and repair electrical and mechanical AV equipment.
- Efficiently diagnose and resolve issues with AV systems to ensure optimal functionality.
- Perform regular maintenance checks on all AV equipment, ensuring readiness for events.
AV System Setup and Operation:
- Set up audio, lighting, and video projection equipment in various venues, ensuring proper configuration for events.
- Assemble and install AV systems, including DMX splitters, DSPs, amplifiers, and fiber optic converters.
- Operate audio and lighting consoles, as well as video projection equipment, to deliver high-quality productions.
- Set up server equipment for networked AV systems, ensuring seamless integration with event infrastructure.
Technical Troubleshooting:
- Conduct regular system checks and troubleshoot AV systems, including servers, network switchers, LED screens, projectors, and SFX machines.
- Manage rack formation devices and cabling, ensuring efficient organization and accessibility.
- Provide quick, effective solutions during live events to resolve any technical issues that arise.
Event Support:
- Collaborate with event organizers and presenters to ensure smooth AV functionality during live events.
- Maintain a client-focused approach, ensuring all audio and visual elements meet or exceed client expectations.
- Provide on-site technical support during events to ensure flawless AV performance.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on emerging AV technologies and new trends relevant to exhibitions and live events.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve AV setup efficiency and enhance event experiences.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in audio-visual technology, with a focus on setting up and operating AV equipment for live events.
- Proven experience troubleshooting technical issues and maintaining AV systems.
Technical Expertise:
- Proficient in setting up and operating audio, video, and lighting equipment for exhibitions and events.
- Strong technical knowledge of AV systems, including soundboards, projectors, and lighting consoles.
- Familiarity with video conferencing systems and streaming platforms is a plus.

- Excellent troubleshooting skills with a detail-oriented approach to resolving technical issues.
