CYBERSECURITY ENGINEER

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to lead our client organization’s defense against evolving cyber threats. With a focus on enhancing our security posture, the ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing robust cybersecurity measures.

Responsibilities:

1. Security Architecture:

   • Design and implement security architecture, ensuring it aligns with business objectives.
   • Evaluate and recommend enhancements to existing security systems.

2. Incident Response:

   • Develop and maintain an incident response plan.
   • Lead investigations into security incidents, analyzing root causes and implementing corrective actions.

3. Security Assessments:

   • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities.
   • Collaborate with IT teams to remediate identified security risks.

4. Security Awareness:

   • Design and deliver cybersecurity awareness training programs for employees.
   • Foster a culture of cybersecurity consciousness throughout the organization.

5. Emerging Threats:

   • Stay abreast of emerging cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.
   • Propose and implement proactive measures to counteract potential threats.

6. Compliance:

   • Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity laws, regulations, and industry standards.
   • Support audits related to information security.

7. Security Operations:

   • Oversee security operations, including monitoring and analyzing network traffic.
   • Collaborate with IT teams to implement and manage security solutions.

8. Security Policies:

   • Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards.
   • Regularly review and update security documentation.

9. Collaboration:

   • Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into projects.
   • Provide guidance on secure coding practices and data protection.

10. Research and Innovation:

• Conduct research on emerging cybersecurity technologies and tools.
• Identify opportunities for innovation in enhancing cybersecurity capabilities.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity roles.
3. CISSP, CISM, or other relevant certifications.
4. In-depth knowledge of security frameworks and standards.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
7. Proven ability to lead and work collaboratively in a team.
